Our Heritage

St. Andrew’s Adult Home (Sengkang) [SAAH] is affiliated to the Anglican family of community services.

St. Andrew’s Autism Centre (SAAC), which is a service of St. Andrew’s Mission Hospital (SAMH), one of the largest social service agencies in Singapore overseeing various community services, runs a special education school and adult autism services.

SAAH and its co-located Day Activity Centre are services of SAAC.

Day Activity Centres (DACs)

We believe that with proper training and quality support, our clients can be guided towards independence. Our six-hour daily programme focuses on developing our clients in daily living, personal care and vocational skills, and inculcating recreational interests. Physical wellness, healthy living and specialist therapies are also included in the DAC programme, emphasising the whole person development.

We currently operate two DACs, one at our SAAC (Siglap) campus, and the other at SAAH (Sengkang). The programmes offered at both DACs aim at engaging our clients meaningfully, training and supporting them based on their assessed needs, as well as providing intervention strategies for behavioural management.
